Yes I suck at this. There is a lot to say, and I don't even know where to begin.
Colton had is EEG it was an interesting process. They gave him some meds to knock him out and after I walked a mile around the hospital pulling him around in a wagon, he finally conked out. I just sat and watched the process. I was fully enthralled by it. (shocking I know, the moon amuses me). He looked awful during the process with all of the probes all over his head, but I knew he was fine. It took a long time for me to finally get the test results back. It took a few weeks due to specialists and docs being on vacation, but I started hounding them, and finally the nurse called me back and told me that everything is normal. Whew. Now after I get the OK from his doctor here, we should be weaning him off of his phenobarbital.
Two of my kids had birthdays. Dylan turned 8 and Chloe turned 5. They are both in school now. Surprisingly both of them are having a really good time and can't wait to go in the morning. It is a relief because I worried so much about Dylan. He seemed to be struggling so much, but now he is just thriving. It feels good to watch him blossom. Chloe of course has been excited to be in school since she was two. She comes home telling me everything she did. It is funny. We took the kids to the north rim of the Grand Canyon on Dylans actual birthday. It was a lot of fun, and the kids were impressed. We took a picnic. and then walked to the rim. The older kids and I walked down a trail a way and took some pictures. Tom kept the baby up at the top of the trail and looked around. BUT my camera got dowsed by something and now isn't working so I can't even get my pics off. I am going to try and clean it up just well enough to at least get the pics. *sigh* Technology is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it can be so frustrating.
As far as the weight loss thing goes, I weighed myself and I am now down 15 pounds......yeah! I am sooo on a roll. Bikini at the lake next summer, here I come!
